Job Title: Teacher – Hairdressing

Program Overview:

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is seeking a qualified Teacher – Hairdressing to join our team. As a key member of our education department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in hairdressing and cosmetology to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum for hairdressing and cosmetology programs
  • Deliver instruction to students in a classroom setting
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Fluency in two (2) of the three (3) official languages of KI (Inuktitut, English and French)
  • Experience in adult education
  • Experience in multi-level classes
