Concert Venue Operations Manager

With an unmatched 360-degree solution set, they cater to world-class owned venues and a client roster that includes top-tier arenas, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions.
The General Manager oversees the efficient, professional, and profitable operation of food service operations at assigned venues. This role ultimately ensures compliance with federal and provincial labor laws, sanitation, and food-related ordinances. In addition to managing day-to-day business operations, the General Manager seeks new revenue sources both on- and off-site.
This role offers a salary range of CAD $150,000 to $170,000, with bonus eligibility. Benefits for FT roles include Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, pension matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays).
Job Responsibilities- Ensure the legal, efficient, professional, and profitable operation of assigned venues.
- Generate and review financial reports, including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, P&L financial statements.
- Author, review, and amend policies & procedures as required.
- Author and amend contracts; determine and project point-of-sale to guest ratio.
- Evaluate recent historical sales and purchasing data to identify purchasing patterns and accurate cost of goods.
The General Manager provides direction to each manager and follows up on assignments. Regular inspections ensure established quality standards are maintained. An effective management team is developed, giving managers clear direction and necessary assistance. Evaluations assess each manager's performance, making recommendations for improvement.
A minimum of 5 years' management experience in the food-related or concessions industry is required. Nationally recognized advanced food service sanitation training course certification is also necessary. Excellent communication skills foster a positive work environment. Solid working knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and POS systems, is essential. A thorough understanding of all existing concessions and premium services locations is also required.
