We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Engineer to lead our frontend development efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cutting-edge frontend technologies and a proven track record in building performant, scalable, and maintainable web applications.

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of frontend engineers, driving technical decision-making, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality user interfaces. You will work closely with our backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to ensure cohesive and high-quality product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively contribute to the development of frontend features using technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, ViteJS, Tailwind CSS, and AWS Amplify.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of reusable and scalable frontend components, ensuring adherence to modern design patterns and industry best practices.
  • Ensure optimal web application performance with a deep understanding of Core Web Vitals, such as Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Contentful Paint (FCP), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
  • Manage and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and productive work environment.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to team members for professional growth and development.
  • Own the frontend architecture and make data-driven, informed technical decisions to ensure the integrity, scalability, and performance of our web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with our product managers to prioritize features and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Front End Software Development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, ViteJS, and building frontend applications on AWS Amplify.
  • In-depth understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and experience with unit/integration testing practices.
  • Proven experience optimizing web applications for performance, with a strong grasp of Core Web Vitals (LCP, FCP, CLS).
  • A demonstrated ability to lead and scale frontend teams, with experience in team performance management, mentoring, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
