Job Title: Truck and Coach Technician

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at Ontario Tarp & Trailer Systems Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and trailers. This includes inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing or replacing parts and components, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with dusty and noisy conditions. They will be required to work overtime and have good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and be a team player.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Dependability, judgement, reliability, and team player skills
