Overview

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Design Manager to join our team in various locations, including our Waterloo, ON office. As a key member of our design team, you will work closely with our Pittsburgh and U.S.-based teams to deliver high-quality water/wastewater treatment design, planning, and delivery services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and client development specifically in water/wastewater treatment design, planning, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with our design teams to deliver complex water/wastewater projects for industrial and municipal clients.
  • Mentor and develop engineering design staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule expectations, ensuring quality standards on project deliverables.
  • Develop business opportunities with new and existing clients, preparing or assisting with associated proposals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in water/wastewater consulting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in detailed design of water/wastewater projects, project management, and staff management.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Valid Canadian driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
