We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kinesiologist - Fitness Trainer to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS). As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead Fitness, Sports and Aquatics programs for a highly motivated and professional clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, deliver, and assess Tactical programs based on established employment standards to ensure the members of the Canadian Armed Forces can safely and effectively perform their duties in operations.
- Prepare and conduct physical fitness training sessions, instruct health and physical fitness training modules, and apply policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Evaluate physical fitness, aquatics, and officiate at least three sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, racquet sports, and hockey.
- Coach sports and work with clients to achieve their fitness goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences, or a related field.
- Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification, National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate, and successful completion of the Personnel Support Programs (PSP) Fitness & Sports Level 1 & 2 Courses.
- Experience in preparing and conducting physical fitness training sessions, instructing health and physical fitness training modules, and applying policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Language requirement: French is essential.
