Transformative Leadership Opportunity in Cyber Risk Management

AIG is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President to lead our Cyber & Professional Liability underwriting team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive business growth, develop and execute underwriting strategies, and mentor and train staff to achieve profitable underwriting results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute underwriting strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead a team of underwriters to achieve profitable underwriting results
  • Mentor and train staff to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers and clients
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in underwriting within the Cyber & Professional Liability
  • Prior management experience is an asset
  • Proven ability to deliver difficult messages while influencing positive outcomes
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work for yourself and others
  • Proven ability to network and build relationships
  • Organized, highly motivated, self-starter who takes responsibility for own performance and demonstrates leadership in their approach to work, training, and knowledge seeking
