About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 0960745 B.C. LTD. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe food handling environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, as well as portion and wrap foods to meet customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain an organized inventory.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
