Job Title: Industrial Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Ya YA Foods Corp (RP0001). As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
  • Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
  • Maintain industrial instrumentation and related devices
  • Replace or repair electrical components
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors
  • Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
  • Maintain inventory of stored material
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices
  • Interpret electrical code specifications
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work
  • College/CEGEP education in electrical technology or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a physically demanding environment
