Job Title: Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Veolia. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for unloading and reloading box trucks, van trailers, and vacuum trucks, as well as handling and maneuvering containers of industrial waste. You will also be required to use various types of power tools and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and reload box trucks, van trailers, and vacuum trucks
  • Handle and maneuver containers of industrial waste
  • Use various types of power tools
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
  • Perform offsite work as needed to assist the team with vacuum truck services and waste pickups
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience operating counterbalance forklifts (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent physical health (regularly lift up to 80 pounds of material)
  • Experience using various types of power tools
  • Willingness to learn new tasks
  • Forklift license (asset)

Work Environment:

Permanent and full-time position, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work.
