Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at BARRHEAD SLEEP SHOP INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Flexibility and reliability.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Assistance with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
- Recruitment of newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Support for youth employment and mentorship programs.
- Participation in diversity and cross-cultural trainings.
