Your Impact
As a Senior Cloud Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions for our organization. Your expertise in cloud technologies and SRE principles will drive the success of our cloud initiatives and ensure our systems operate flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement highly available and scalable cloud-based infrastructure solutions, aligning with business requirements.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to existing systems and applications.
  3. Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
  4. Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and best practices.
  5. Configure and manage cloud environments, utilizing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) automation tools to provision and scale resources efficiently.
  6. Implement and enforce robust cloud security measures, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  7. Collaborate with development teams to promote cloud-native application design, integration patterns, and automation opportunities.

Requirements

  1. A successful candidate should demonstrate expertise in Python, Bash, or Terraform, showcasing their own code examples.
  2. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) highly desirable.
  3. Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or a similar role, with a strong focus on architecting and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
  4. Solid knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including its services, features, and deployment models.
  5. Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python, with experience in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation highly desirable.
  6. Strong understanding of networking concepts, virtualization technologies, and containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  7. Demonstrated ability to design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
