Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Wingfield Golf Club. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 32-44 hours of work per week.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and attachments. This includes troubleshooting faults, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, ordering parts, and maintaining inventory.

In addition to these tasks, the Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist will also be required to weld, test repaired equipment, clean and lubricate machinery, and perform other routine maintenance duties as needed.

Work Environment

The work environment for this role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling movements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field
