We are seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Days Inn. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for operating laundry equipment, folding and ironing clothes, and ensuring that all garments are cleaned and pressed to a high standard.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, and ironing clothing and linens, as well as folding and packaging finished items.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles
  • Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles
  • Provide customer service and ensure that establishment standards are met
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 36 hours of work per week. The work language is English. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to the successful candidate.
