We are seeking an experienced Automotive Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our tire centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the shop, supervising workers and projects, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Summary

The Automotive Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the tire centre, including supervising staff and coordinating projects;
  • Ensuring the efficient use of resources and minimizing waste;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment;
  • Providing technical advice and support to customers and staff;
  • Recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality;
  • Coordinating and scheduling activities to meet work schedules and deadlines;
  • Estimating costs and materials for projects and initiatives;
  • Recruiting and hiring staff, as needed;
  • Training and developing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements

To be successful as our Automotive Operations Manager, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the automotive industry;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure;
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities;
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, as travel may be required.
