Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Individual Insurance team. As an Underwriter, you will play a key role in risk assessment for life and critical illness products. This is a critical position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply underwriting expertise to assess risk factors for life and critical illness products
  • Provide high-quality work and manage daily volumes independently
  • Provide excellent client experience and comply with legislative requirements
  • Contribute to the enhancement of underwriting processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
  • Superior technical knowledge in medical, financial, and non-medical underwriting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
