Experienced Paralegal for Labour Rights and WCB Claims

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team at Arlyn Recruiting. As a key member of our labor rights and WCB claims practice, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting WorkSafe BC/WCB claims from start to finish.
Responsibilities- Prepare and file legal documents, submissions, and appeals related to WorkSafeBC matters, including prohibitive action complaints.
- Communicate effectively with WorkSafe BC representatives, medical professionals, and clients to gather crucial information and documentation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay up-to-date on changes in workers' compensation law and policy to ensure clients receive the best advice possible.
- Organize and prepare evidence, including medical records, witness statements, and expert reports, for hearings and legal proceedings.
- Draft detailed correspondence, reports, and summaries of legal matters for review.
- Manage case progress, adhere to deadlines, and ensure timely and efficient processing of client claims.
- Assist clients in preparing for hearings, appeals, and other legal proceedings.
We're looking for a self-motivated Paralegal with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Your experience in a paralegal role, preferably in private practice, is essential. You should be able to manage files independently with minimal supervision and possess proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Adobe, and other relevant legal software.
