Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to residents, responding to call bells and door alarms in a timely manner.
  • Deliver high-quality resident care, adhering to individual care plans and assignments.
  • Transport residents safely and efficiently to various locations within the community.
  • Perform laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Engage with residents, families, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner, addressing concerns and complaints in a timely and effective way.
  • Practice safe food handling techniques and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the team leader.
Requirements:
  • Minimum six months of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living community.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training and certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent.
