Job Title: Personal Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at KEEDWELL ASSISTED LIVING CENTER INC. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to residents, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Support residents with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and refreshments, ensuring residents receive nutritious and appealing food options.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging residents in activities and conversations to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with laundry and linen services, ensuring residents have clean and comfortable living conditions.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a care-related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
