Safety Management Professional

CAM Industrial Solutions is a renowned provider of maintenance and turnaround services, boasting over 60 years of customer relationships. Key Responsibilities- Implement and manage CAM's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System
- Conduct project start-up and readiness reviews to ensure HSE compliance
- Develop and implement training programs for employees
- Audit and inspect facilities to ensure HSE standards are met
- Monitor quality of HSE programs and processes
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and recordkeeping
- Develop recognition and rewards programs to promote HSE excellence
- Conduct gap analyses of client, subcontractor, and CAM HSE program elements
- Manage claims and provide support during turnarounds
- Oversee first aid, medical, and emergency services, as well as PPE procurement
- Coordinate with subcontractors and develop site security programs (where applicable)
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in plant/refinery construction, maintenance, or turnaround operations
- HSE team lead or management experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, email, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with union craft employees and managing WSIB injury claims
- Familiarity with industry HSE associations and resources
- Degree in safety or a related field; or equivalent work experience
Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on location and experience.
