We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Professional to join our team at Cooper Equipment Rentals in Southern Ontario. As an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Our ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years of health and safety experience, preferably in a construction-related environment. They must possess a strong understanding of COR processes and have a valid Class G Driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing documents such as TDG updates and manifests, license renewals, and Hazardous Waste Information Network documents. They will also perform customer service functions by answering team member health & safety requests/questions, write and revise company safety policies, and enter data to ensure follow-ups of incidents/accidents.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work collaboratively with the Joint Health and Safety committee, assist with branch audits, and participate in accident investigations and analysis. Additionally, they will support safety initiatives and assist with Workers Compensation Claims Management.
