Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

  • Critical Incident Coordination: Manage all aspects of emergency claims, including resource coordination, quality control, and monitoring.
  • Project Planning: Coordinate with urgency the arrival at a claim site, conduct a thorough inspection, and define the scope of work for execution in collaboration with the Project Lead.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure supplies and equipment are available to facilitate efficient and effective response to a loss, and establish and maintain good housekeeping processes to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and manage a team of technical professionals to maximize their timely performance, engagement, and achievement of objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Perform regular reviews of cost, quality, safety, and productivity metrics, setting plans and executing these effectively to drive optimal performance of field services teams through goal setting, observation, coaching, and reviews.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner and collaborate with other stakeholders to continually improve team performance.
  • Communication: Provide communication on the progress of work completed within a given work day to ARS project teams.
  • Reporting: Provide reports for analysis and review.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: 5-7 years of work experience in the construction/restoration industry.
  • Certifications: IICRC (WRT, FSRT) required, IICRC (Odour, Applied Structural Drying, Applied Microbial Remediation technician) an asset.
  • Safety Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of construction trades, site-specific safety plans, and Ontario Building Code.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
