Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and well-being in our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing services to patients, families, and communities, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners to promote health literacy and empower individuals to take control of their health.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines to ensure delivery of best-in-class patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program and current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Active Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a similar role or in a related healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of Alberta Health Services' policies and procedures.
- Ability to speak multiple languages, including English and French.
