We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Supervisor - Retail to join our team at LAMOUR BEAUTY TRADING LTD.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training employees, and overseeing day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of retail salespersons and sales clerks
  • Assign sales workers to duties and tasks
  • Hire and train new employees or arrange for their training
  • Autorize payments by cheque and manage cash
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues related to supply shortages
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in retail management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
