Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Urology Specialist to join our team at SickKids. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our urology department.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled urologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex urological conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and manage urological conditions
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on urological health and disease management
  • Promote evidence-based practice and stay up-to-date with the latest advances in urology
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in medicine from a recognized institution
  • Completion of a residency program in urology or a related field
  • Licensure as a medical practitioner in the province of Ontario
  • Membership in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $350,000 to $450,000 per year, depending on experience.
