Lantic Inc is looking for a highly skilled Packaging and Finished Products Manager to join our team in Montreal, Canada.

As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing all activities related to packaging and finished products, ensuring the efficient use of resources and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage production equipment to ensure efficient performance and availability.
  • Implement occupational health and safety standards to protect employee physical integrity.
  • Manage collective agreements and participate in joint labor relations and health and safety committees.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative systems and improve existing processes.
  • Evaluate job requirements, plan tasks, and manage resources while respecting budgets.
  • Ensure smooth operations, equipment reliability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • College or university training in operations management or related fields.
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations management.
  • Excellent decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to mobilize the team towards the organization's vision.
  • Experience in managing people in a unionized environment.
  • Ability to manage change and solve problems.
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with English and French sites.
