Building Manager Live-In Position

Chad Management Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Manager Live-In Couple to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential property in Welland, ON.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarize yourself with all aspects of building operation, ensuring the property is well-maintained and efficient.
  • Utilize strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Email, with experience in Yardi being an asset.
  • Operate mechanical equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure building equipment meets scheduled maintenance requirements and contractor service levels are achieved.
  • Monitor risk management and environmental issues, reporting concerns to the relevant authorities.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, including filter replacement, lamp replacement, and plumbing repairs.
  • Ensure existing maintenance or service contracts are enforced and contractors are adequately supervised.
  • Foster good tenant relations, responding to requests in a timely manner and maintaining open communication.
  • Comprehend and maintain all safety, fire, and building codes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
