">This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Family Law team, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in family law and possess excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities

- Opening and maintaining files in accordance with firm guidelines">
- Preparing and serving court documents, including Notices of Trial and Notice of Change of Lawyer">
- Scheduling trial dates, discoveries, meetings, conferences, and confirming dates with all involved parties">
- Tracking deadlines to ensure compliance with court limitations">
- Providing administrative support, including preparation of monthly invoices">
Qualifications and Skills
">The successful candidate will have:
">- ">
- A post-secondary LAA program or equivalent">
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in family law">
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of BC Supreme Court Rules, court practices, procedures, and filing deadlines">
- Familiarity with Family Law rules and procedures would be an asset">
- Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills">
- Meticulous attention to detail and desire to provide quality work">
- Excellent judgement and ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential matters">
- High client service orientation">
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently">
- Proficiency in file organization and time management">
- Ability to work overtime if required">
- Experience in Adobe, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook">
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills">
