We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food safety standards are met.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
