We are seeking a Medical Imaging Clerk to join our team, responsible for providing administrative support to our Medical Imaging Department. This role involves receiving, processing, and scheduling Medical Imaging procedures, screening patients for necessary PPID and Falls Prevention, and responding to inquiries made by patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and schedule Medical Imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Screen patients for necessary PPID and Falls Prevention, using sound judgment and discretion when assessing difficult intimate patient treatment situations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients feel valued and respected throughout their interaction with our department.
  • Respond to inquiries made by patients, visitors, and hospital staff, demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Keyboard speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Recent receptionist experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with Cerner/ADT system.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and Medical Office Administration (MOA) Certificate.
