About the Role

VST Corporation is seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team. As a Siding Installer, you will be responsible for installing siding on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Measurement: Measure and mark guidelines for siding installations, ensuring accurate and efficient work.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including loading and unloading trucks with equipment and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for clients.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other workers to complete installations efficiently and effectively.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations, including erecting and installing scaffolding and working platforms.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, and in various locations, including construction and renovation sites.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and overtime.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.

  • Communication: Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
