Job Overview

EBC Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Stanley Park project.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to maintain and repair heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues with heavy equipment;
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability;
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electric systems;
  • Clean and organize work areas, and store tools properly;
  • Assist in the repair and inspection of major components, such as engines, transmissions, and pumps;
  • Verify hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems;
  • Document all work completed, including entries and data for registration and equipment repair reports;
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures;

Requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in heavy equipment mechanics or related field;
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a similar position;
  • Valid class 5 driver's license (class 3 would be an asset);
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems;

Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year;
