Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Performance Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate health service delivery and clinical operational performance across services and support functions, leveraging data to drive improvements in patient experience, care team wellbeing, and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to support operational improvements and implementation, fostering effective and collaborative working relationships.
  • Develop and implement business process improvements to generate organizational efficiencies, utilizing lean transformation framework concepts and systems thinking principles.
  • Provide data-driven business analyses to inform management decisions, leveraging financial planning, reporting, and business performance management expertise.
  • Counsel and develop organizational leaders' understanding of business performance implications, engaging with analysts to prepare needed data and reporting.
Requirements
  • Five years of experience supporting management in decision-making through effective and innovative data-driven business analyses.
  • Five years of experience in a health-related setting, engaging stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for business improvement, including lean transformation framework concepts.
  • Experience in and knowledge of principles and techniques of systems thinking, research, and analysis, with the ability to apply to health service delivery.
  • Experience in implementing and evaluating policies, standards, protocols, and frameworks.
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline, such as health or social sciences, with additional post-graduate education in a related field, such as management, economics, or public administration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent certification in quality processes.
  • Registration with professional associations and regulatory bodies, as appropriate.
