Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Worker to join our team at SAMUEL EDWARDS. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, as well as operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to track crop development and identify areas for improvement.
  • Harvest crops at the appropriate time to ensure maximum quality and quantity.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market.
Work Environment

As a Farm Worker, you will work outdoors in a rural area, exposed to various weather conditions, including wet, damp, dusty, hot, and cold temperatures. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but you must be willing to train.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing weather conditions.
Working Conditions

The work environment is physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting. Overtime may be required, and you must be able to adapt to changing weather conditions.
