Job Description

At Banque Nationale du Canada, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Expert Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a senior IT expert analyst on technology aligned with our IT targets, including API, Rest, Kafka, Camunda, and more.
  • Understand and challenge business needs, translating them into functional requirements while ensuring traceability.
  • Draft detailed functional analyses, validate them with business partners, and ensure they're being implemented properly.
  • Communicate with business partners during development phases and advise on alternative solutions.
  • Carry out functional tests, help the testing team develop and complete acceptance testing, and diagnose and solve problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with constantly evolving technologies and suggest new ideas for solutions.
  • Analyze the impacts on solutions and suggest action plans for making adjustments.
About the Team

Our IT team is comprised of over 2,300 proactive, collaborative experts who work with agility to seize opportunities and stay on the cutting edge of technology. As a Senior IT Expert Analyst, you'll report to the Manager, Asset Management, IT Delivery, Cybercrimes, and actively contribute to projects on an experienced and dedicated team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a business, functional, IT, and application analyst in a complex organization.
  • Experience with delivery in Agile mode and producing detailed user stories.
  • Practical knowledge of Agile development methodologies and quality assurance testing.
  • Experience in a banking environment is an asset.
