Ryder is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of all building and power equipment in a Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with knowledge of conveyors, schematics, forklifts, high-voltage electrical, motors, hydraulics, and general mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure uninterrupted services and operations.
- Manage a team of maintenance personnel to perform repairs, installations, and training on equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failure.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the maintenance team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; three to five years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of schematics, battery maintenance, HVAC, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, D.C. Controllers, and A.C. Drives powered lift equipment.
- Ability to diagnose repair needs and troubleshoot electrical circuitry and systems.
- Knowledge of forklift, order picker, and reach truck repair.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
