**Position Overview**:
As a Facility Maintenance and Construction Laborer at Ladouceur Mechanical, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop organization and job site deliveries. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks including shop organization, material coordination, general maintenance and repairs, shipping and receiving, and assisting with on-site needs. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and physically fit to handle the demands of the job.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organize tools, equipment, and materials in the shop to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment as needed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting incoming and outgoing materials.
- Assist with inventory stock and material replenishing.
- Act as a job site runner to deliver materials, tools, and equipment to various locations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely availability of required resources.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the shop, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from vehicles and organizing them in the shop.
- General grounds keeping, cleaning and janitorial duties.
- General facility repairs and maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to promote a secure work environment.
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by supervisors.

**Experience & Skillset**:

- Previous experience in a general labor or similar role is preferred.
- Experience in construction is considered an asset.
- Basic experience with minor repairs and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and move heavy materials throughout the day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

**Salary**: $17.00-$30.00 per hour
