As a leading global real estate investment management advisor, BentallGreenOak seeks a skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team. This 12-month contract position is based in Courtenay, BC.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for daily property management functions, including inspections, contractor supervision, and incident documentation. You will also assist with marketing events, gather mail and payments, and handle customer inquiries. Additionally, you will perform janitorial duties, maintain storage rooms, and ensure WHIMIS procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily inspections of common areas and report deficiencies to the Regional Director.
  2. Liaise and supervise day-to-day activities of on-site contractors.
  3. Document incidents and assist with insurance claims.
  4. Assist with marketing events and gather mail and payments.
  5. Handle customer inquiries and provide access to vacant units.
  6. Perform janitorial duties, maintain storage rooms, and ensure WHIMIS procedures are followed.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in business administration.
  2. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  3. Organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in technology.
  6. Police clearance required.
