Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Coordinate Industries Ltd. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment and machinery.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Set up and adjust production machinery, perform routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Inspect and Test Products: Verify dimensions and accuracy of machined parts using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work effectively with other technicians, engineers, and production staff to resolve issues and optimize processes.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Document inspection results, maintenance activities, and other relevant data to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in a related field, such as machining, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating CNC machines, robotic equipment, and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a physically demanding environment.
