Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Niagara Catholic District School Board. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to young children in our elementary schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to promote literacy and cognitive skills in children
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement curriculum and address individual student needs
  • Provide positive social and emotional experiences to strengthen pro-social skills in children
  • Observe and assess children's progress and behavior on a routine basis
  • Report to parents and supervisors on children's developmental progress
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year college diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
  • Proven ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • Experience planning and implementing age-appropriate programs
  • Basic computer skills
