Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local HR Business Partners and hiring managers to identify talent requirements and develop job specifications.
  • Act as the single point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process, providing a thorough prescreening and making recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Conduct telephone and/or personal interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, succession planning, and cultural fit.
  • Schedule interviews with qualified candidates for specific job openings and ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Manage the full life cycle of the recruiting process, including generating and presenting formal employment agreements and related documents.
  • Develop and implement proactive recruiting strategies for core, repeat, or volume roles, and work with external partners to negotiate best search rates and evaluate service levels.
  • Update and document recruitment requirements in our online applicant tracking system for future reference.
  • Work with external background check providers to facilitate standard checks on successful candidates and review results for recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition projects and collaborate with HR Business Partners and the business to understand business requirements, development opportunities, and objectives.
  • Provide weekly activity updates on searches and report against agreed-upon recruiting metrics, including time to fill, quality of hire, and cost per hire.
Requirements
  • Requires a broad training in business administration, sales, marketing, or similar vocations, typically obtained through a four-year Bachelor's Degree Program.
  • Normally requires a minimum of three years of comprehensive recruiting experience utilizing various recruiting vehicles and sources.
  • Excellent consultative skills in recruiting support, ability to build strong relationships, and understanding of recruiting principles and best practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, implementing HR staffing processes, strategies, and programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, and versatility.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and previous experience with online Applicant Tracking Systems, such as Workday.
  • Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry experience and bilingualism in English and French are assets.
