We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Atlantic Montessori School, Ltd. in the role of a Montessori Teacher.

About the Job:

This is a permanent position that involves working with children aged from 1-3 years old in a child care centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing Children's Development: The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the children's development and preparing a learning plan tailored to their needs.
  • Child Care Programs: They will develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Communication: Effective communication with parents is essential in this role, as the educator will need to synthesize the overall situation of the children and communicate the information to the parents.
  • Teamwork: Collaboration with other early childhood educators is also crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the program.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: A Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate is required for this position.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certifications are necessary.
