Job Title: Montessori Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher to join our team at Atlantic Montessori School, Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Montessori principles and methods, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support children's growth and development
  • Lead activities, tell stories, and engage children in creative play
  • Assist early childhood educators in maintaining records and communicating with parents
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
