Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Health Consultant to join our team in London. As a Senior Health Consultant, you will play a critical role in leading consulting engagements with employers regarding their medical, dental, life, disability benefit plans and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements, including managing overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies.
  • Develop benefits design and renewal strategies and drive the development of tools and solutions to address client issues.
  • Effectively communicate Mercer's position on the latest industry trends to clients.
  • Be accountable for revenue/profitability for client accounts and projects.
  • Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and by leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
  • Set strategic direction that creates demand for new products/services in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • At least 8 years' experience in identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' health care benefits challenges.
  • Valid and current LLQP license.
  • Renowned expertise and industry reputation in the health & benefits field.
  • Superior analytical, mathematical, and strategic planning skills; coupled with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated management skills in leading projects.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and working knowledge of the MS Office suite.
