Sr. Product Strategist - SMB

About the Opportunity

As the Sr. Product Strategist - SMB, you will leverage your expertise in product management to drive the strategic direction, go-to-market, and oversight of our SMB product portfolio. You will collaborate with business leaders to identify strategic issues and growth opportunities, providing industry insights and expertise to ensure focus on product management across the portfolio. You will develop data-driven solutions to enable our SMB Product team to provide business insights and influence senior stakeholders across the organization to execute the strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and execute product strategies, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and identification of growth opportunities.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: Influence and persuade key internal stakeholders and external bank partners to execute the strategy and allocate resources based on the required direction.
  • Product Marketing and Pricing: Develop product launch strategies and partner with internal Marketing and Finance teams to finalize overall marketing, go-to-market, and pricing.
  • Product Management: Lead the coordination of product governance for the team during all stages of product development, from ideation to launch.
  • External Representation: Represent the group and company at industry events, publicly presenting our mission and goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Work with stakeholders to analyze and present data to inform decision-making and track progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • People Leadership: Develop into a people leader in the medium-term as analysts are onboarded.

About You

  • Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, marketing, and/or product management preferably in the payments or fintech industry.
  • Proven experience commercializing products, including marketing, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Proven ability to persuade senior leadership to change direction and garner buy-in.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering presentations to executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience identifying opportunities and recommending solutions to complex issues.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal).
  • Passion for supporting small and medium-sized businesses and understanding their unique challenges.
