Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Lead Kitchen Staff
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Heritage Indian Cuisine Nanaimo. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet our high standards of service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest level of quality.
- Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure that we always have the necessary ingredients and materials on hand.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service, ensuring that it meets our high standards.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of quality in a fast-paced environment.
