Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan - Woodgrove. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and portioning of food to meet work schedules.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to meet business needs.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and high-quality food. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
