Bartender - Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Fairmont Waterfront. As a Bartender with our hotel, you will be an ambassador for exceptional service and flavors, providing warm and attentive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently offer professional and friendly guest service while supporting fellow colleagues.
  • Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way.
  • Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines.
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
  • Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Mixology experience, including cocktail creation, is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of all beverage products is essential.
  • Previous Point of Sale System experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Highly responsible and reliable individuals are preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team is necessary.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times, is required.

Additional Information:

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian Work Authorization.
