Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in analyzing and improving business processes and workflows.

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding and documenting complex business processes and workflows
  • Applying critical thinking to identify areas of improvement and implementing effective solutions
  • Providing timely and accurate requirements to technical stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage with external stakeholders, explore and utilize data sources for analysis purposes, and critically review data requests and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business operations and develop recommendations for process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and achieve desired outcomes
- Develop and maintain knowledge of main data sources, classifications, and data quality standards
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business objectives
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines

Experience with JIRA and Confluence is an asset. Previous experience working in a retail or tax/finance background can also be beneficial.
