Job Title: Beauty Salon Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Beauty Salon Attendant to join our team at Blunt Salon Ltd. As a Beauty Salon Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients and colleagues.
  • Provide shampooing services to clients, ensuring their hair is cleaned and styled to their satisfaction.
  • Process payments and manage client appointments, ensuring seamless communication and timely scheduling.
  • Advertise and promote products, sales, and services to clients, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support newcomers and refugees by providing foreign credential recognition and diversity training, fostering a welcoming work environment.
  • Offer on-the-job training to youth, promoting their development and growth within the company.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting cultural competency and awareness.
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities, offering mentorship programs and diversity training to create a welcoming work environment.

As a Beauty Salon Attendant, you will work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve business goals and objectives.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to health and safety standards, and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
